About N.R.Narayanmurti

A famous name of N.R Narayanmurti is not required to any introduction.He is the founder of a very famous IT company INFOSYS.Recently in august 2011 he has retired as chairman.

                                                                                  He was born on 20th august 1946 in a school teacher family, whose monthly income was 250 rupees only.Obviously his life was not very comfortable.this was the cause for which he could not take admission in IIT even he had qualified JEE after 12th.He had completed his engineering from Mysore university, & completed his master degree from IIT Kanpur.IIT Kanpur played a vital role for his new & successful career.His interest towards IT sector  & technology was increased from this institution. Finally he established the INFOSYS.

                 In fact during campus placement in IIT Kanpur he got placed in IIM Ahmadabad whose had only monthly package 800 rupees only even he got also placed in HMT,ECOL,TELCO,Air India whose had a lot of monthly package.The reason behind this was Professor krishnya.This was the person from which he impressed very well.Naryanmurti was impressed in such a way that he worked till 3 A.M. and again he reached the office 7 A.M. 

               There was the initial stage of IT industry in India that is why he had no any restriction to do labour and learn new thing.After Ahmadabad he also spent sometimes in foreign.during this time his mentality got automatically changed.During returning from Bulgaria in 1974 he had arrested up to 60 hours in case of spy & later he released with a statement that he is the public of our most closest country India.

              In 1976 Naraynmurti established a software company SOFTRANICS .although this company was flopped badly.After that he started a job under PAT NI COMPUTER.The internal heart of Murti was nit flopped even the time was not very grace full.He always wanted his own software company.

            Here he got help from his wife .His wife was an engineering in TA TA.She saved around 10,000 rupees .This 10,000 rupees became 1st investment of Murti towards his own software company.Naryanmuti with his 6 friends Nandan nilkani,N.S. raghwan,S,Gopalkrishnan,S.D.shibulal,K.Dinesh & Asoke aroda established  a company in 1981 named INFOSYS.

            From here the main job was started for Naraynmurti .He got new challenged & hope to alive his company forever.Narayanmurti started his company in 1981 but he could be able to get 1st computer in 1984.I t was very difficult to get loan for the business.Many big banks were not ready to give the loan .But he was so lucky also ,he got the loan for his business from Karnataka state industrial investment  & development K.S.N. Murti with in a formal meeting.

           INFOSYS got 1st contract from DATA BASICS which was situated in Newyorkand Data basics wanted ,Infosys should arranged a telephone for better communication between them.Infosys had spent 1 year to get this gole .Although the situation had became changed after this .

         The founder of Infosys got an offer to sold their company Infosys for great money.Besides of Naraynmurti all friends got ready to sold the Infosys .But it was impossible for Naraynmurti.

Infosys had shortlisted by American stock exchange in Nadsek in 1994.This was the 1st Indian company whose got this achievement.During this he had also faced another problem.

          Infosys took a decision to made partner of their  staff whose were looking for another international company .It was the 1st company which was started a stock option plan for their staff .

        Naraynmurti says  that for getting success in any Field it must have a dream and regular changed your self in positive manner.

The main Fonda of his is  "sleep yearly & get up yearly".

Naraynmurti  got padam vibhushan awards in 2008 and also he got lifetime achievement award from CNBC & FORBS in 2011
