I like cricket very much so i want to write about cricket history in my first blog.

The first evidence of cricket being played was recorded in the year 1550 by the pupil of royal grammar school Guild ford.The first match is recorded to have been played at Cox heath in Kent in the year 1648.Earlier cricket used to thrive greatly as a gambling game.
Cricket was in fact a major gambling sports towards the end of the 17th century.It is recorded in the year 1679, a 11 member match was played with stakes as high as Guinness per side.
The 18th century also witnessed the emergence of two types of cricket players .They were known as the retain player & individual player.Generally the retain player was the servant of lord & a cricketer as well.On the other side individual players was free to play anywhere with his skills.
In the year 1787 The Melbourne Cricket Club also known MCC was established.The MCC has since then gone on to become one of the most prominent bodies in the cricket of world..Initially the sports cricket was restricted in the England.But after sometimes it gradually went to national sports of the England .The late 18th century was very crucial phase for the development of this sports also outside the England.Where ever the people of England went ,cricket was also with them.Slowly & gradually it spread many parts of the world.The first official match was played Canada & US in the year 1844.Next official match will be played between England & Australia in 18th century.
In present time it become very famous sports.It has own following of loyal fans.The international cricket of council (ICC) is the governing body of cricket which was founded on 15th June 1909.Now a days it has been converts into three formats.
A) Test cricket -- It is the most oldest format of the Cricket.It is the 5 days of game with 90 over par day.
B) One day cricket -- It is well known as ODI .It is the 2nd format of Cricket.Initially this was the 60-60 over match.But now it is plays with 50-50 over match.This format of cricket is very famous and interesting.
C) T20 -- It is modern format of Cricket .In this format innings length of 20-20 overs .It is very fast & interesting format of the Cricket.
